Mount Sinai Latino Physicians Answer Viewer Calls on Univision - LIVE

  • (December 03, 2012)

Last week on Univision 41 NY 6 p.m. news, specialists from The Mount Sinai Hospital answered viewers questions on Cardiovascular health - LIVE. The phone lines were open from 6 - 7 p.m. Callers were able to speak to Doctors Samer Kottiech, Vivian Abascal and Pedro Moreno in a first-of-its kind event for the Hospital. The phone bank is part of the Hospital’s Latino outreach, which includes ¡A Tu Salud! (To Your Health!), a health and wellness television series that airs every Sunday at 6 a.m. on Univision.

A shout out to the Univision team for a job well done and special gracias to Rafael Pineda and Adriana Vargas, anchors of the 6 p.m. news whose loyal viewers rang the phones off the hook!

About the Mount Sinai Health System

Mount Sinai Health System is one of the largest academic medical systems in the New York metro area, with more than 43,000 employees working across eight hospitals, over 400 outpatient practices, nearly 300 labs, a school of nursing, and a leading school of medicine and graduate education.
