Endothelial Function in Fibromuscular Dysplasia.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate blood vessel function in subjects with fibromuscular dysplasia and to determine whether there are any changes in vascular function as compared to healthy age, gender, and ethnic origin matched control subjects. An ultrasound, a non-invasive test, will be performed on the brachial artery (blood vessel in the upper arm), and carotid arteries (blood vessels in the neck). In addition, blood pressure will be performed on the ankles and arms. The non-invasive ultrasound tests will be performed in the morning and each subject must fast for 12 hours prior to the study. If you qualify and complete the study you will be compensated for your participation.
