Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Our doctors at Mount Sinai Health System’s Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases are specialists, and are available for consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for a broad range of infectious illnesses that affect infants, children, teens, and young adults. We help children who have both acquired and congenital disorders of the immune system. We will advise you about your child’s immunizations for home and for traveling abroad.
We work together with you and your pediatrician to coordinate the diagnosis and management of your child’s condition. Our specialists have broad experience in all aspects of pediatric infectious conditions, from the most serious and complicated problems in hospitalized children to outpatient problems that require a specialist’s perspective.
Our pediatric infectious disease doctors always follow up with you about your child’s care after hospitalization.
In addition, we consult with international travelers about their child’s immunizations and provide other medical advice.
