Seeking Research Participants with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder for Salsa Dancing Study
We are currently looking for individuals with a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. The purpose of the study is to understand how individuals with schizophrenia feel about and experience Salsa dancing. Participation includes a 1-hour Salsa lesson, as well as some questionnaires and an open feedback discussion about the class. Participants are given a meal voucher redeemable at the Mount Sinai cafeteria as well as $6 per visit to reimburse transportation. Inclusion Criteria:
- Diagnosis of Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder, between the ages of 18 and 65 years old, able to participate in mild physical activity for approximately 1 hour
