The Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart
The Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart, which opened in March 2017, offers a range of health promotion and disease prevention services. Located at Mount Sinai Doctors - East 85th Street, we offer an integrated and comprehensive health program.
Led by Jeffrey Mechanick, MD, the Center has two main programs; The Cardiometabolic Medical Practice and the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Medical Fitness Program.
The Cardiometabolic Medical Practice provides diagnosis and treatment for cardiology and endocrinology patients, using state-of-the-art, evidence-based management, structured lifestyle and pharmacotherapy, and long-term follow-up.
The Cardiac Fitness and Rehabilitation Program offers state-of-the-art fitness programs for general use in comprehensive structured lifestyle management, individualized targeted fitness therapy, and certified cardiac rehabilitation programs. We have a full range of aerobic, strength-training, and exercise physiology equipment available on site.
As part of Mount Sinai Health System, we can provide referral to a dietician, certified diabetes educator, cardiologists, exercise physiologists, sleep experts, tobacco cessation programs, and professionals in behavioral medicine, addiction, and stress reduction.
Additional services at The Center include individual and group sessions in dance, yoga, meditation, strength training, and aerobics.
