At Mount Sinai West Radiology, you will find a combination of general radiologists and subspecialty radiologists. Our generalists are skilled at interpreting images from a broad range of conditions and body systems and provide expert diagnostics. In addition, for more specialized care, our subspecialists focus on specific conditions (such as cancer) or a body system (for instance, the heart and circulatory system), when that is appropriate. Together, we deliver expert, efficient, high quality imaging care. Your best health is always our number-one goal.
Radiology Consultation Services
At Mount Sinai West Radiology, we do more than just perform imaging tests. We can also work with your doctor to ensure that you get the best care by providing your referring physician with reliable consultation services. These services are available 24/7. During these consultations, our radiologists can guide your doctor in choosing the specific type of imaging or radiology treatment that will give you the best results. Specifically, our radiologists help your referring physician:
- Determine if imaging is appropriate for diagnosis
- Evaluate if imaging follow-up is required
- Select the best exam
