Rheumatology Faculty Practice Associates Announces New Hires

Rheumatology Faculty Practice Associates is pleased to welcome Olivia Ghaw, MD, and Yousaf Ali, MBBS, to our practice. Dr. Ghaw conducted clinical research with Peter Gorevic, MD, Chief of Rheumatology AND DR. ALI Has received numerous honors and awards. Together, they plan to grow the practice.

Rheumatology Faculty Practice Associates is pleased to welcome Olivia Ghaw, MD, and Yousaf Ali, MBBS, to our practice.

Dr. Ghaw is a graduate of Mount Sinai’s Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Rheumatology Fellowship Program. She received her MD from NYU School of Medicine and her BA cum laude from Wellesley College. During her residency and fellowship, Dr. Ghaw conducted clinical research with Dr. Peter Gorevic, Chief of Rheumatology at Mount Sinai Medical School.

Dr. Ali comes to Mount Sinai from the Arthitis and Osteoporsis Center of Brooklyn Heights, where he was an attending rheumatologist. Prior to that, he spent nine years as an attending physician at Rheumatology Associates in Providence, R.I. He earned his MBBS from the University of London and completed his residency in internal medicine at Oregan Health Sciece Center and his fellowship in rheumatology at Yale University.

Dr. Ali has received numerous honors and awards, including repeated listing in “Best Doctors in Rhode Island.” He is a recipient of the Beckwith Family Award for Outstanding Teaching from Brown University.

Rheumatology Faculty Practice Associates is part of The Mount Sinai Medical Center Rheumatology Services. Our mission is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care to patients suffering from frequently painful and debilitating autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
