"Will Spine Surgeons Be the Next Specialists Scooped Up by Hospitals" Dr. Samuel Cho Lends His Insights

There is an over-arching trend of hospital employment of specialists and now spine surgeons may or may not be jumping on the bandwagon. “For spine surgery, everything is up in the air because of the proposed healthcare changes that will take place over the next several years,” said Dr. Samuel Cho, from The Mount Sinai Medical Center. “On the Medicare side, reimbursements have not been keeping up with inflation and complexities of the surgeries we offer, and that has been a problem.” Learn more
