Mount Sinai Queens Names New Outpatient Director
Melissa Lee, MD, has been named the new director of Outpatient Services for Mount Sinai Queens, as announced on April 9 by Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs Dr. David M. Nierman. "I’m very excited by the opportunities at Mount Sinai Queens," said Dr. Lee. "When you come to see your provider, you’re actually seeing a team, a small ‘family’ who knows you." Raised in Woodside and Astoria, Lee has returned to Queens after studying at Yale, and completing her residency at Harvard. "We are happy to welcome Dr. Lee," said Dr. Nierman. "She is a great addition to our group which focuses on our patients to provide continuous, coordinated, quality care under one roof. We are a home base for families."
