What is vitamin D's role in multiple sclerosis? “There’s very strong association data for vitamin D and MS,” said Aaron Miller, MD, Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Medical Director of the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at the Mount Sinai Health System. “The big question is, does supplemental vitamin D, improve the outcome for people that already have MS? And sadly, we don’t have any answer to that question yet.”
