For someone living with multiple sclerosis (MS) - like my husband, Richard - stress is never far away. Dealing with an unpredictable disease and its symptoms is incredibly stressful. Wanting to learn more, I reached out to Aaron Miller, MD, professor of neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and medical director of the Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis. He shared some insights into how stress worsens MS symptoms and what can be done to manage its effects.
