At the American Diabetes Association 78th Scientific Sessions this year, first author, Grenye O’Malley, MD, chief endocrine fellow in the division of endocrinology and bone disease at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and final author Carol Levy, MD, CDE, director of the Mount Sinai Diabetes Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai will be presenting a late-breaker modestly titled “Trends in Insulin Pen Priming,” which seems likely to include data from the three-month NIH-funded study of TypeZero’s inControl MDI Advisor, which is using NFC-enabled NovoPen Echos and connected Tresiba pens supplied by Novo Nordisk.
