"How Safe Is Food With CBD?"
Yasmin Hurd, PhD, director of the Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai, joined Errol Louis to discuss the city’s recent ban on restaurants and bars from selling food or drinks with the popular cannabis derivative, known as CBD. “There are very few companies that have made the investment in what it takes to move a compound to say that this really has medicinal properties, they have not proven it. I think that you need science-based medicines and science-based food before making certain conclusions,” said Dr. Hurd.
