Mount Sinai Health System Names New Creative and Media Agencies of Record
SS+K and Mediassociates Announced After Months-Long Search
Mount Sinai Health System announced today that it has awarded its creative agency of record duties to SS+K, and media agency of record duties to Mediassociates, following a review that began over the summer. Consultant Michael L. Manning of The Potomac Group managed the review.
Both agencies will collaborate with Mount Sinai to create an integrated marketing strategy that will leverage creative ideas with innovative tools and research to drive brand position.
“SS+K demonstrated the ability to turn a great health care system into a great story. Their inspiration and imaginative approach won us over,” said David Feinberg, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Mount Sinai Health System. “Mediassociates has a sophisticated and precise approach that will increase impact on our diverse and important audiences. With these new partners, we move confidently into our next chapter.”
Karen Wish, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Mount Sinai Hospitals Group, added, “SS+K and Mediassociates both have distinctive approaches and proven capabilities that will strengthen our ability to convey how Mount Sinai Health System serves the diverse medical needs of New York.”
“Mount Sinai is a vital New York institution with a glorious past and an inspiring future. It does an incredible job caring for New Yorkers, and we are honored to work with David, Karen, and their team to inform people how this system provides superior care despite the challenges facing big city health systems today,” said Mark Kaminsky, Co-Founder and Partner at SS+K.
“We’re very grateful for this opportunity to work with Mount Sinai, which plays such an important role in the life of New York,” said Jeff Larson, President, Mediassociates. “This health system deserves to have its voice amplified in this highly competitive media market. Through our partnership with SS+K and the Mount Sinai team we will build a creative, data-driven approach that will help them break through.”
Mr. Feinberg and Ms. Wish thanked the other agencies who participated in the review. Media, creative and digital planning efforts have started.
