Mount Sinai Health System Expands Care in Staten Island
Additions to conveniently located site offer primary and specialty services
The Mount Sinai Health System opened its new multispecialty practice at Corporate Commons Three with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event on Monday, November 4, marking a significant milestone in Mount Sinai’s continued commitment to providing exceptional care to Staten Island residents.
This expansion adds two floors of medical services to Mount Sinai’s existing practice at Corporate Commons Three, located at 1441 South Avenue, which first opened its doors in October 2023 as home to Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center-Staten Island, providing state-of-the-art hematology and oncology care, including infusion treatments for cancer and non-cancerous blood disorders.
“The health and well-being of New Yorkers begins locally, and it’s our mission to bring world-leading medical care into the communities and neighborhoods we serve,” said Ken Long, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mount Sinai Health Network. “Mount Sinai’s wide-ranging new Staten Island multispecialty care practice brings high-quality medical services combined with the latest technology, all housed in a state-of-the-art facility that’s close to home for Staten Island residents.”
The new Mount Sinai Doctors multispecialty center will offer a broad range of medical services. The ground floor will offer primary care, breast surgery, podiatry, and a full-service radiology center, featuring advanced mammography and other imaging technologies. Orthopedic subspecialties in spine and joint replacement will begin later this year. The eighth floor will provide comprehensive cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and gynecology services, with additional specialties expected to be introduced in the future.
“While Mount Sinai has been providing specialty services across Staten Island for some time, our new multispecialty practice allows us to bring a wide range of expert care to one convenient location,” said Srinivas Duvvuri, MD, Senior Medical Director, Mount Sinai Health Network on Staten Island. “By consolidating our specialists in this modern facility, we are strengthening our ability to meet the diverse health care needs of this growing community.”
