Mount Sinai Names New Chief Nursing Officer for The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Queens

The Mount Sinai Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Dianne Aroh, MS, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Queens.
Ms. Aroh is a distinguished nurse executive with more than two decades of award-winning leadership experience in health care. She began her executive career at New York City-based Montefiore Health System and continued at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Ms. Aroh joins Mount Sinai from Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for the Northwest Region of CommonSpirit Health. In that role, she oversaw nursing and patient care services across 11 hospitals and more than 300 care sites, with 2.5 million patient encounters annually.

Ms. Aroh grew up in Jamaica and first realized her calling in medicine after her brother was injured playing soccer and she was inspired by the nurses and physicians who cared for him in the hospital. A lifelong advocate for education and professional development, Ms. Aroh is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Pace University and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Villanova University.
