Best Practices in the Spiritual Care of Transgender and Gender Diverse Patients
Chaplains from the Center for Spirituality and Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai partnered with Mount Sinai Health System’s Office for Diversity and Inclusion and Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery to develop this training video, which presents best practices in the provision of spiritual care to transgender and gender diverse (TGD) patients. The webinar includes a series of interactive training videos on recognizing, assessing, and meeting the needs of TGD patients in health care settings.
This webinar was originally presented by the Chaplaincy Innovation Lab. We are grateful to the lab for making this recording available to Mount Sinai staff and the general public at no cost. The webinar is suitable for individual learners or for those who are gathering in small groups or as a class.
