Conditions We Treat
Sports injuries often occur in the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle, and fall into two basic categories: overuse injuries, caused by a series of small injuries to the same area of the body, and acute injuries, caused by sudden trauma. We can treat many sports-related injuries with rest and physical therapy, but for injuries that require surgery, we can often do minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to repair the damage, allowing for quicker recovery times.
We treat the following conditions, among others:
Shoulder
- Acromioclavicular (AC) joint separation
- Bankart lesion (labral tear)
- Biceps tendinitis
- Frozen shoulder
- Rotator cuff tears
- Shoulder dislocation
- Shoulder instability
