"Mount Sinai Becomes Neuro-Spinal Scaffold Trial Site for Spinal Cord Injury"

Mount Sinai is a new clinical site for a neuro-spinal scaffold clinical trial for patients with spinal cord injury.  The Neuro-Spinal Scaffold is a device which promotes structural support for spinal cord regeneration. Arthur Jenkins, MD, an associate professor of neurosurgery and orthopaedic surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, was named the local principal investigator of the trail.
