Save the Date! Maximizing the Impact of Clinically Based Nurse Scientists in Health Care Delivery Settings: A Multiday Summit

June 16-18, 2025

New York, New York

We are excited to announce that the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has awarded grant funding to support the nation’s first conference on the role of clinically based nurse scientists in health care delivery settings. This summit invites nurse scientists from across the country who conduct research directly within health care organizations to discuss shared challenges and opportunities for this unique, diverse, and rapidly expanding role.  This multiday in-person meeting will feature expert presenters and panelists, generative discussions and breakout sessions, and networking and collaborative opportunities to:

Develop a five-year strategic framework outlining the mission, vision, goals, strategic priorities, and crosscutting strategies for clinically based nurse scientists in health care delivery settings

This work aims to accelerate the scale, scope, speed, and rigor of research conducted by clinically based nurse scientists in health care delivery settings, with the long-term goal of maximizing our impact on the quality, safety, accessibility, affordability, and equity of healthcare in the United States.

Please sign up to receive event updates and forward to colleagues who may be interested.
