The Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center provides expert care to any person in need of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation medicine services. Our practice provides a customized and evidence-based approach to ensure optimal recovery to function and health.

Services

Inpatient services are provided in the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center located at the Klingenstein Clinical Center (Madison Avenue at 100th Street). Our inpatient specialty programs provided within the Rehabilitation Center are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). 

Outpatient physician services are focused on rehabilitation medicine and interventional spine and sports medicine. Outpatient therapies are offered by members of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team including neuropsychology, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and vocational counseling. The Mount Sinai Hospital is nationally ranked for Rehabilitation by U.S. News & World Report® for 2024-25.

Outpatient special programs are specifically targeted to people with spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputations, lymphedema and vestibular and balance disorders. Other programs include hand therapy, the wheelchair and seating clinic and Transition to Fitness.
