Q: How do I schedule my appointment?
Please speak with a comprehensive health specialist to schedule a visit by calling 212-241-8000 or emailing your request to comprehensivehealthprogram@mountsinai.org.
Q: How long do the exams and consultation take?
A typical day at the Comprehensive Health Program at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital usually begins around 7:30 to 8:00 am. The Half Day concludes around 12:30 to 1:00pm and the Full Day concludes around 2:30 to 3:00 pm. If any additional services are included, the program visit day may be longer.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
The Comprehensive Health Program at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital is a self-pay bundled program and does not participate with any health insurance plans.
Q: How do you handle payment?
We collect full payment at the end of the program visit on the day of service. We accept all major credit cards, personal checks, and bank transfers.
Q: How shall I prepare for my visit?
Once we have confirmed your visit date, a pre-evaluation questionnaire packet is emailed to you in order to provide our physician team with a baseline of your health history. Please complete the questionnaire and forms prior to your visit. Your program itinerary will include preparation instructions.
Q: Where do I park?
For Upper East Side/Main Campus - Mount Sinai Hospital:
The visitor parking garage is located at 1292 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10029 (99th Street between Park and Madison Avenue).
For Mount Sinai West:
Mount Sinai West provides, for a moderate fee, curbside valet parking service on weekdays during the hours of 6:00 am to 9:00 pm at its main entrance on 10th Avenue between 58th and 59th Streets. The vehicle is stored in the hospital garage on West 59th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues, and is returned to the hospital entrance at the scheduled departure time indicated by the visitor.
Q: What hotels are nearby?
If you are visiting from out of town, there are several hotels in both location areas for convenient accommodations.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
We understand schedules change all of the time. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. A cancellation fee will be incurred if the visit is cancelled with less than 24 hours prior notice.
