Pediatric ENT
The pediatric ear, nose and throat physicians (otolaryngologists) at Mount Sinai are fellowship trained and have built their practice with an emphasis on the parent and patient experience. We take seriously the trust placed in us by our patients and their families to provide the best care possible. To that end, we strive to customize treatment plans that make the most sense.
With experience in all facets of pediatric otolaryngology, our team of experts provides the most up-to-date recommendations, so that families are empowered to make the right treatment decisions for their child. We pride ourselves on educating parents about the child’s specific disease processes and in communicating effectively with referring physicians so that everyone involved in the child’s care has an accurate understanding of the problems and plan. When necessary, our team at Mount Sinai works in a multidisciplinary approach with other pediatric sub-specialists, bringing together collective expertise of multiple physicians to individualize a comprehensive treatment plan for the whole child.

Multidisciplinary Pediatric ENT Care and Specialty Services
Collaborating with other pediatric specialists is a critical component of our team’s work and the success of patient outcomes. Our pediatric otolaryngologists work closely with referring physicians, as well as all disciplines within the Department of Pediatrics. This includes allergists, pulmonologists, gastroenterologists, facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons, and hematologists/oncologists. Additionally, our team offers specialty services, including audiology, speech therapy, cochlear implants and hearing aids, should your child or loved one require them.
The Mount Sinai pediatric otolaryngology team is unique in that we have both interest and training in several areas of pediatric otolaryngology that can be difficult to find elsewhere. We offer sialoendoscopy for management of certain salivary gland disorders and are also trained in Sleep Endoscopy for evaluation of complex obstructive sleep apnea. We work together with other specialists to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with:
- Complex conditions of the upper airway, gastrointestinal tract (GI), and pulmonary systems disorders through Mount Sinai’s multidisciplinary Aerodigestive and Complex Airway Clinic.
- Cleft lip and Cleft Palate
- Hearing Loss or Consideration for Cochlear Implantation
- Pediatric Voice Issues
- Pediatric Sleep Issues
- Vascular Anomalies
