2022 Nursing Research Day
The theme for this year’s event is “Nursing Research in 3D: Diversity, Health Disparities, and Social Determinants of Health.” Participants will explore how the practice of nursing can address inequalities in care based on race, gender, sexual orientation, income, insurance status, immigration status, abilities, or other characteristics; disparate health risks faced by structurally disadvantaged populations; and policy and practice conditions impacting divergent health outcomes. The discussion will also explore how a holistic approach to these research domains can strengthen the position of the nursing profession in the broader effort to advance health equity in the United States.
