Spine
For many people who are recovering from a spinal surgery, the first few weeks at home can feel overwhelming and daunting. Regular health and wellness check-ins from a skilled clinician can help people recovering from surgery to feel more connected and safe at home. The Department of Neurosurgery is excited to present Precision Recovery: Spine - our new Remote Patient Monitoring program in collaboration with the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance. The Precision Recovery Spine program is designed to remotely monitor your health and wellbeing after you leave the hospital. Our Precision Recovery team will check in with you weekly to make sure that you are feeling well, moving well and on the road to a healthy recovery.
Program Breakdown
This remote patient monitoring program has two main components:
- Daily symptom reports completed directly from a Smart Device or telephone call using the Precision Recovery application
