Mount Sinai Ambulatory Care HIV/AIDS Program
If you have HIV/AIDS, you want to live the healthiest, highest quality life possible. And we want to help.
Mount Sinai is an international leader in HIV/AIDS treatment and research. We offer comprehensive, affordable primary care and case management services to people of all ages. We also provide a variety of additional services. Our services are at two locations in Manhattan: the Jack Martin Practice in East Harlem, and Comprehensive Health Downtown in Chelsea.
We are family-friendly and dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Our tagline sums up our philosophy: “HIV doesn’t care who you are. We do.” Our doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other health professionals work together to create a health plan just for you. We also offer specialized services such as:
- Hepatitis C treatment
- Immediate help after exposure to HIV
- Nutritional assessments
- Women’s health/gynecological services
We can help you connect with many other community-based organizations in the neighborhood that provide complementary services. Part of one of the nation’s top research and teaching hospitals, we offer access to new medications and treatments through clinical trials. We can easily refer you to other specialists and researchers in Mount Sinai.
