A Spine Care Navigator to Manage Your Care Plan
What distinguishes The Mount Sinai Morningside Spine Program is our dedicated Spine Care Navigator. Whether you enter through the Emergency Room or contact us directly, our spine care navigator will ask the right questions to make sure you see the right specialist—whether it be Pain Management, Neurosurgery, or Diagnostic Imaging. Should your condition require multiple specialists, we will do our best to make sure all your appointments are in the same day. Neck and back pain issues can be complex, so having the right team by your side you from the start is vital.
An Experienced Team for Complex Spine and Neck Issues
At The Mount Sinai Morningside Spine Program, we diagnose and surgically treat patients a wide spectrum of spinal issues, including chronic pain herniated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, cervical myelopathy, cervical radiculopathy, spine tumors, scoliosis, complex spinal conditions, and trauma resulting from accidents or falls. Our collaborative approach involves a team of experts from neurosurgery, physical rehabilitation medicine, pain management, oncology, and diagnostics, all working together to create a personalized care plan that suits your needs.
If you are suffering from back or neck pain, our first appointment often provides options for immediate relief. Your spine care navigator will coordinate your appointments and care strategy to optimize your time.
Whenever possible, we prioritize non-surgical treatments. However, in some cases, surgery is the best course of treatment. We offer the latest minimally invasive and microsurgical techniques that can minimize discomfort and shorten recovery times.
A few specific regions of the back and neck that we specialize in diagnosing and treating include:
